  • No Jew Bullets

       June 26, 2004

It seems that the US government has decided to adopt a policy that can only lend validity to the Arab world's widespread policy of ignorance and hatred. Actually, I shouldn't blame the whole US government, this is coming from these two bozos. Reuters reports:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Israeli-made bullets bought by the U.S. Army to plug a shortfall should be used for training only, not to fight Muslim guerrillas in Iraq (news - web sites) and Afghanistan (news - web sites), U.S. lawmakers told Army generals on Thursday.

Yep, that's really from Reuters, not from The Onion, The Borowitz Report, or any other satire or fictional news source. When we first registered the domain "dummocrats.com" we thought that we'd have no trouble always finding material to post about. But never did I think that we'd ever find something as patently idiotic as this.

    Res Ipsa

Though one does have to wonder what the PC police would do if we had a Jewish president. Would they demand that he 'recuse' himself from the war? On that note, perhaps we should be keeping all of our Jewish soldiers on the sidelines of this war as well?

Anyway, the only way to react to such idiocy is to make fun of it, and others have done a fine job of that already.

Allah Pundit has a couple of great banners prepared to help get the word out. (each image links to allah)

Protein Wisdom has a pretty funny entry on it.

And Spoons expresses some very appropriate outrage in an RCOB moment.

As a side note, does anyone think that Reuters is trying to be cutesy by using the term "plug?"

the "don't turn our enemies into enemies" poster is hilarious. unfortunately, the fact that this is so damn easy to make fun of will overshadow how incredibly stupid it is.

both of those idiots deserve to lose their jobs this fall.

The Arabs are always saying that the U.S. is being pulled by Israeli strings. Wouldn't using Israeli bullets against them just hand them more uh... ammo, for that argument?

PS- it's 'res ipsa loquitur', there's no slang/shorthand latin as far as I know

umm, yeah, that was sort of the point, stephen. first, their argument is ridiculous, and is based on their racist hate of jews. next, the US decision to stop using these bullets "lends validity" to that argument. it's time that the world stand up and take the position "no, middle east, everything negative that happens in the world isn't a jewish plot."

and, i'm aware that the whole phrase is "res ipsa loquitur." if you've never heard of that slang/shorthand for the phrase, then maybe you've never been around lawyers. it's in common usage.
