ok, i just noticed that i chose a terrible title for this post.

this was a rally agaisnt genocide. there were pictures taken, and im linking to them here.

this was not a rally against "genocide pictures," as the title seemingly indicates.

good thing kris just sent me "eats, shoots, and leaves" for my b-day, isn't it? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1592400876/qid=1095307075/sr=ka-1/ref=pd_ka_1/104-6953023-9591913

Yet, the man who liberated all those people in Iraq, and now is being ASKED to help those in need in the Sudan (according to the left) is not "their president" but is only "ours". Well, I'll accept that all day long, and I'm PROUD of him!

He may not be their president but is he not apart of the U.N.? These people need someones help and if no one else why not us ? You say that he's not their president but he's not Iraqs either. The problems seem the same in a way there are both innocent lives at hand. I understand about our soldiers , but look at the rate there people have been killed. In 1994 an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were killed in a hundred days. I know its not recent but the death toll continues to grow and even before the war we knew this was going on and the president's knew about it. I may be late on this opinion of mine but i felt I had to put it in there.
