       November 04, 2004

I stumbled upon a gallery of photos taken at an anti-Bush rally in San Francisco on November 3, 2004. A few choice photos are below; see the link for the rest.

This young man has the courage to say loud and clear what democratic party really thinks of the "flyover" states.

The Left will rise! And it will be Anarchy! But wait, the left is a political ideology, pretty much the antithesis of Anarchy.... But the left will rise, in Anarchy! umm.... Anarchy will bring the left into power! no, wait, Left, Rise to Anarachy! no, ummm, my head hurts.

If they're against Democracy, then why did they immigrate here? I mean, really, they are immigrants. If you're gonna immigrate anyway, and you hate democracy and freedom, then why not pick a state that is more in step with your leanings, like Cuba or Syria? I hear that Iraq is nice this time of ... errr, wait, guess we messed that one up for them!

On a similar note, I am ashamed that this guy is an American.

Just a few of the young "protestors" at this rally. They look like a bright, intelligent, educated, stand-up group, don't they? We should take their opinions seriously!

What a way to top off the night - - by burning "an upside down American flag" and a doll of President Bush in effigy.

So there you have it, folks, there's a candid look at the new left. They don't love America, and they don't love democracy. They couldn't care less about what's best for the country - instead, they care only about advancing their own position, which, from these signs, I can only surmise is anarchy. And if you disagree with them? If you're with them, great, they love you! But if you dare to disagree, well, in the immortal word of protestor #1, "fuck you."

This is why I wonder sometimes where our country is headed. Way to keep your cool, I am not sure I could have when they started burning the flag.

Why even bother getting mad about people like this? Most of them are just silly students who, once they grow up a little, will be embarrassed about things like this. They don't have any ideas, just "anarchy!" and "fuck!". That's it.

Oh, I know that some of them don't grow up, they just move to your neighborhood or mine, but some of them DO grow up. And, I hope their parents are taking lots of pictures of them while they're in this phase. ;-)

seriously though, why do we live in probably two of the most liberal parts of the most liberal cities in America? 9 out of 10 people in my polling place went to Kerry. It's probably similar in your neighborhood. Anyone know where 9 of 10 went the other way?

Hmmm, I should have clarified my "no Utah" policy as well as the fact that I don't want to live in a dry county.

I think I'd be fine even if it was 70-30 Kerry. Actually, I'm fine now. It IS kind of fun to notice how all the Kerry/Edwards signs suddenly disappeared ;-)

What I dont understand is why anyone that works hard for there money would buy a $30.00 American flag just to burn it. It doesn't even have to an American flag, any flag or object(bush doll) is just silly.

Next time you want to waste $30.00 send it to me.:)

Kris is tough. How about Midland, TX? 82-18 Bush. Also, in Texas, Men favored Bush by 29%, but women did by 37%, so you'd fit right in.

Very interesting, the way you people all think Bush has done something good for America!!

How are the jobs in your state?
How are the schools in your state?

Do you have families? Do you want a war that is unjustified to take your children, male or female?

(Don't even start with the Democrats made the draft bill, because they did so everyone would be EQUAL!! Men and women!)

So now to prevent a draft is to end wars that aren't justified, and build International relations, again, to the point they were at in 1999!!!

What cracks me up is that one just has to look at how well America was doing from 1992-1999, most people were working and making money for their kids to go to colleges, etc.!!

Now, School closures all across the US, but the 'Liberal' media, as Repubs call it, never covers it. HHmmmmm....

Please people, stop, think and consider what Bush and Co. has done for you and your family. Unless you are an oil baron or a very large Haliburton Stockholder, there will not be much Bush and Co. has done for you.

This election was stolen just as 2000 was.

You all forget what GHWB (GWB's poppy!) used to do for a living, Head of the CIA!! The main fuction of the CIA is to creat Coup de etat's in countries to get a friendly political leader in charge.

The same was done to America for the people that were willing to pay for it!!

We live in a facist state, and if any of you had an education you would recognize it yourself!!

(For all replies, you do not get to comment on grammar or spelling, as these are standard Republican arguments when they have nothing else, and if you waste time commenting on that you will be showing how stupid you really are!!)

Ya think nutjob's bright enough to change it? His level of composition suggests he has somebody else do it for him.

Hey nutjob tracyv: are you admitting that Clinton screwed things up for all of 2000? Are you admitting that Bush41 was doing a great job in all of 1992? I guess those are reasonable points, and then Clinton was able to take credit for all of Reagan & Bush's work for 7 years, until their huge economic machine finally ran out of steam under Clinton's abuse. You seem to have that concept fairly under control.
But your understanding of schools is another matter. In our state the public schools continue to be state funded, just as they have always been (and no, our Governor is not a Bush, unfortunately). What wacky state do you glom off of and hang out in that they would have given away their public schools to the Federal Government? I hadn't heard of that state - are you in America? I have heard North Korea has state-run re-education schools, but I suppose you wouldn't be using a computer if you lived in your dream country like that.

By the way, thanks for the tip that George Herbert Walker Bush and George W Bush are related - maybe we can get Dan Blather to "break" that newsworthy story. Maybe you and Dan can check into that Governor guy down in Florida, too - might be a conspiracy or something brewing there. Ever heard of Prescott Bush? He was a Senator (a guy that works in the Senate side of the U.S. Congress) and has that same last name, golly. Check into that, too and get right back to us with whatever shenanigans you and Dan have been able to uncover.
