  • 2004 Weblog Awards

       November 20, 2004

Nominations for the 2004 Weblog Awards are now open on Wizbang.

Go nominate your favorites (or yourself). The neat thing about these awards is that there are awards based on traffic, so even new or smaller blogs have a chance. Feel free to nominate us in the 501-1000 ranked blog category. It'll be a nice consolation for us, considering our Badgers are currently getting spanked (again) and are headed for the Outback Bowl rather than the Rose Bowl.

Just wanted to let you know you've got my sympathy pertaining to the Badgers loss. They spanked the Buckeyes ('my' team) efficiently and I've hated seeing them lose to MSU and Iowa. Partly because they seemed like a solid team, partly because their victories make Ohio State look less bad for losing to them... partly because I wanted Meechigan to get knocked out of the Rose Bowl. So it goes.

If it helps any, I'm a senior at Miami - our hockey team won their first five, and then went ahead and lost their next SEVEN. Anyway, have a good week!

    Thanks Jason,

We'll be okay. We just fell apart these last two games. I don't know what happened. Hopefully everyone can get healed and we can go to the Outback Bowl and at least finish the season on a good note.

Unless they got probation over the Clarett stuff, I really think OSU will be right back at the top starting next season (Ginn is that good), while we'll be mediocre.

By the way, college hockey fans are ALWAYS welcome here. I'm sure you know that the Frozen Four is in Columbus in April and, if the truth be told, I'd rather the Badgers make it there than go to the Rose Bowl.
