Results show/filler hour. Confession time: I only half-watched this. Impressions & results:

    • "Love The One You're With" medley featuring the women. Paris is going from cute and talented to annoying.
    • Carrie Underwood looks great but "Jesus Takes The Wheel" is a horrible song. Bo-RING. Hey Carrie, in the future the crowds won't be booing, they'll be shouting for Mr. Bice.
    • The girls: No surprises as the bottom three are Kinnick, Brenna & Heather. Brenna is the lowest vote getter. Good riddance. Heather gets a fonder farewell and Kinnick just gets another week until her inevitable departure.
    • The guys: David, Kevin & Sway are the bottom three. David is the low man on the totem pool. Go back to your woods. Sway is a sweet, little angel and my heart breaks for him when he's eliminated. And I have to endure another week of Kevin. Thanks America (you idiots).

Kevin was in the bottom three, though, so he should quickly depart next week.

Brenna still hasn't learned that there's more to singing than sticking your ass out and then putting your hand on it.

No, his close call means not many 11 year olds were voting for him.

Brenna, thanks for the most classless exit I've ever seen on this show.

Except for your comment about her looking great, there's no need to put down Carrie and her music. Bo has his fans, but millions of us love Carrie. The future is now and there is no booing at all. Carrie has sold almost 2.5 million copies of her CD. Bo has sold 500,000 copies. Amazon sales rank: Carrie #22, Bo #127. The song you mention that is so boring is inspiring many, many people and is up for numerous awards. It just ended a 6-week run as #1 on the country singles chart. Carrie also was the recipient of 3 Billboard Music Awards in Novemeber and is up for 3 CMT Music Awards and a GMA Award. So, I would like to point out that while you may not be a fan, there is no need for negativity. Bo will do fine, and Carrie is doing wonderfully. Maybe you should see her in concert this summer as she travels to 41 cities, including opening for Kenny Chesney, the number one grossing country act of 2005. I appreciate your nice comment about her appearance, but there are many more dimensions to Carrie and much great music from Carrie, if you just take the time to listen.

im pissed that sway is gone. sway is much better than at least 6 of the remaining.

in the prelims, they didnt show much sway. what they did show of him wasnt good. when i first saw that he was picked, i thought "oh, there's the AA pick. he'll appeal to the latino audience." i thought it was an undeserved selection.

    i was wrong.

sway's vocals are roughly on par with elliott's. it's HARD to sing falsetto. it's HARD to sing stevie wonder.

and he didn't do anywhere near as bad as the judges said he did.

Hooray!! Brenna's gone!!! Unfortunately I have to endure another week of the little geek. I agree with you james, that sway is better than a lot of the ones remaining. It sucks that he's gone.
