  • Amazing Race Recap - Episode Six - Wooooooo!!!!

       October 22, 2006

Tonight, Kuwait City didn't stink. Instead, it bloomed with the sweet smell of a man getting exactly what he deserved. Not only were Peter & Sarah Philiminated, but Sarah effectively cockblocked Peter by declaring that she would not seek a relationship with him because she wants someone kind, caring & nurturing - three traits that the despicable Peter doesn't posess. What an awesome ending. I might need a cigarette!

    Other lowlights/highlights:

    • The Cho brothers pretended to go after the Fast Forward in order to clear the way for Mary & David to really go for it. The Cho Bros are nice guys, but it's a race. Are they in it to win it or to make friends?
    • The remote controlled camel jockeys used in the Detour were pretty cool. I know a lot of horseplayers out there that would certainly support their use on the ponies. They can't do any worse than Pat Day did aboard Easy Goer in the 1989 Breeders Cup Classic
    • The Addicts/Models continued their zen-like approach to the Race. They never lose their cool or get upset with each other. I've never seen a team like them. They're not the best team ever, but they're certainly the most patient team.
    • Peter's gone!

Next week: The Moms & the Beauty Queens throw down! The BQs wreck their car! No Peter!
