Whew. We’re hitting the home stretch and it’s BeeGees night with Barry Gibb. I love the BeeGees, but have a history of hating BeeGees covers. Let’s see how we go.

Melinda – “Inside and Out.” I love this song! And her hair and outfit. It’s a bit Gladys Knight, but damn she’s good.

And “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart.” Costume change! And Gail gave you a jacked up outfit. A little boring, but sublime.

Blake – “You Should Be Dancin’.” I missed this one, but fiancé says it felt contrived and the beatboxing was not good, so I’ll run with that.

And “This is Where I Came In.” OK, Maroon 5 nee Jamiroquoi, you are dead to me. Enough, enough, America. Send baked potato nose home.

Lakisha – “Stayin’ Alive.” OK, good tone and nice work with the singers. Not much of a dancer though.

And “Run to Me.” Good and boring until the end, when it’s not so good.

Jordin – “To Love Somebody.” I really like this song too. She sounds good, but I really just don’t like her. There’s no reason, really. Nice hair, cute retro dress. Ohhh, and a bad chorus. Of course the Dog and the Chihuahua love it and Simon too.

And “Woman in Love.” Sweet Jesus, who stole Diana Ross’ wardrobe? Good, but a bit shrill for my liking.

    Dream boot: Blake
    Boot: Lakisha

Ok, Bee Gee's, Barry Gibb, disco. Hmm. I wonder if I still hav my D.R.E.A.D. card. In case you're wondering, it was a club started by WRIF in Detroit called Detroit Rockers Engaged in the Abolition of Disco. Their biggest claim to fame was the burning pile of 45's in the centerfield of Tiger stadium. I wasn't there, but heard it was hot. (HA!).

    Anyway, let's see.

Melinda 1. Meh, not her best.

Blake 1. Sucked. Badly. In fact, I don't think Sanjaya ever sucked this bad.

LaKisha- she sounds out of breath. Doesn't finish the words. Then screetches. Only Blake saved her.

Jordin - Bolton sang this. I hated Bolton's whiney voice. This is better than him. Jordin wins round 1. Easily.

Melinda 2: I have never used the word sucked in a Melinda song, until now. It sucked. Badly.

Blake 2: Saves Melinda from looking bad. That didn't take long. He's in serious trouble.

LaKisha 2: Meh. Kind of sucked. If Blake had not sucked so badly, I would think she's in trouble.

Jordin 2: Again, best of the group.

    Worst to First:

    4. Blake
    3. LaKisha
    2. Melinda
    1. Jordin.

Jordin is the only one who actually sang decently. I am beginning to think she may be able to win this thing.

I liked Blake a lot more than the judges. I also thought Jordin's second song was just fine.

    I'd rank them:

    1. Jordin
    2. Blake
    3. Melinda
    4. LaKisha

I've gotta think LaKisha is leaving tonight and that Americans will be accused of being racists.

I figure Blake won't go for the same reason Chris Daughtry went home last season at a similar point.

One guy, three gals -- guess who the teeny-bopperettes are going to vote for with their text messaging cell phones?
