With the American Idol finale, I thought it'd be fun to have a few quick polls to gauge the pulse of the nation (or you know, the three people who read this site and also watch American Idol).

| I thought Kris' version of "Ain't No Sunshine" was great, but that everything else ranged from mediocre to awful. The coronation song was hideous. Also, when did hurricanes become something inspirational? |

| yes, that was a total crap song. it was fun to see the judges step around saying that aloud.
i can't imagine that either contestant wants to win if they have to release that song. talk about killing a career before it even gets started. |

| that was funny. even Kara, who apparently wrote it, didn't seem that impressed with it.
i don't think they have to release the coronation song as a single anymore - i think it's put on iTunes, but it's not officially a single the way that songs from the first few seasons were. |
