Doesn't it seem like everyone writes songs about Mondays, Fridays and the weekend? No one writes songs about the middle of the week. We want to hear about the best and worst of times, not about how Wednesday's such a good time because of all of the good reality television on that night.
Anyway, I did some digging and threw together this playlist for the week ahead - Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays included :)

| Wednesday & Thursday definitely have the fewest songs about them. Songs about days of the week. |

| I'm surprised you didn't go with "New Moon on Monday." |

| I didn't put much thought into it - they're not even my favorites of each day. I think in that case it'd either be Blue Monday, Come Monday or I Don't Like Mondays.
My favorite Thursday song is called Thursday Club by The Truth, but I can't find it on YouTube. I actually really like that Elvis Costello song. I hadn't heard it before, so it was a nice find for me. |

| A friend of mine wrote this this morning. I think it's brilliant:
(Yeah, Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ark) Oo-ooh-ooh, hoo yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah Yeah-ah-ah Yeah-ah-ah Yeah-ah-ah Yeah-ah-ah Yeah, yeah, yeah seven a.m., waking up in the morning woke with no alarm because last night I spilled wine and it got on my phone and I use my phone as my alarm clock Now I'm rushin', really rushin' Gotta down get runnin' to the bus stop but I just miss it, the driver's an a-hole (a-hole) Walkin' down the street, then Walkin' through Loring park Gotta make my mind up Does the path go downtown?! It's Monday, Monday Nothin' goes right on Monday It's the beginning of the week and we are looking forward to the wee-eek-end. | I'm working on lyrics to a song called "Casual Friday". Here it is so far:
Workday Everyday Looking kinda stuffy Playing dress up in suits and heels. I’m playing my part Trying to get a start Make a good impression And get a big paycheck. But each day I feel a little less like me And I long for time when I can feel free-eeeeeeeeeeeee Ahhhhhh…. It’s casual Friday I’m doing things my way Feelin’ so good in my jeans And favorite shoes |

| I think you have to focus on Wednesday & Thursday to have a hit. Much less competition. |

| Agreed - "Casual Fridays" happened because a guy I work with came in just singing "casual Fridays" Friday and so I spent much of the weekend writing it in my head.
"Thursday" 5 p.m., getting up from my desk chair I'm so fed up and it's time to get outta here Gotta make it through one more day Racin' to the bar to meet my friends Happy hour specials half-price appys sittin' on the patio Which drink do I chooooooose??? It's Thursday, Thursday I can get drunk on Thursday It's okay to be really hungover for just one day. On Thursday, Thursday I can get drunk on Thursday I can nap in my car at noon On Thursday, Thursday I can get drunk on Thursday It's almost the weekend |
