 | U.S. moves to extend daylight time

1. It will be light out later for Halloween, so that's bad for the kiddies.
2. There's no way in hell I'm going to be able to get out of bed in the morning in November. |

We went thru this back in the early 70s during the first oil crisis, having year-round DST (and 55 MPH speed limits). Problem was, it's hard to "save" what you don't have, and 10 hours of daylight for most of us in the continental US just doesn't spread very well. Downside - the kids go to school in the morning in the dark (gee, THAT'S safe), drive to work with headlights on (gee, THAT saves energy), etc.
