Every time we see a politician, we often assume that they are more of a serious type of person. Why would we think that way? Why is there a prejudgment like that? One of the possible reasons for that is how politicians dress up. Seeing them wearing casual clothes, especially those in high position, is very rare. We often see them in formal clothes – in a plain top and skirt, and a formal polo. Hence, assuming that they are very serious type of people on cam and off cam.
There are actually lots of politician that do not wholeheartedly like dressing up in formal, but since their job require them to look professional, well they have no choice. They have to embrace the image of a politician which is, an intelligent and professional looking individual.
If you will notice, female politicians dress do not really differ. They just have a color and style to use. Most of the time, female politicians wear a plain blouse with sleeve, it can be without sleeve as long as she is wearing a blazer or a coat. Then for the lower body, a black skirt or pants. We rarely see a politician wearing a pair jeans because it will look too casual.
Although it seems like most politician give more attention to their clothes, footwear actually makes a huge different to their overall look. It can either make or break it. A politician can just simply wear a plain white blouse and black pants looking basic. However, if she choose to wear a black boots from MyBestWorkBoots, it will make her look more professional and sophisticated. Another thing with wearing boots is that compared to other footwear with heel, it feels more comfortable to wear. Moreover, it also protects our feet.
As for male politicians, it is actually much easier to decide what to wear. As long as they wear plain polo and a black or dark blue slacks, then they are good to wear. As for their footwear, black plain closed shoes will be fine.
